Brief Overview
Lawrence Kett, the proprietor of G&A Fabrications, started out as an apprentice in panel beating and sheet metal work with British Aerospace but soon, realising his vocation was with cars, Lawrence sought employment at Autokraft, based at Brooklands in Surrey. Autokraft were an AC cobra restorations shop, parts supplier and replica manufacturer. During the 10 years Lawrence spent there, he developed many skills and became aware of the growth in specialist restoration oh historic road and race cars.
Feeling confident in the skills and knowledge he had developed, Lawrence took the big step and in September 1990, with the support of his wife, Wendy, G&A Fabrications was born.
